How to use the K-9 Caddie

The K-9 Caddie® Dog Sling is an ergonomic canine mobility aid designed for maximum comfort, ease of use & safety for both you and your companion.

The caddie was specifically created for companions who are post-op cruciate patients, experiencing arthritis, elbow or hip dysplasia, muscular, neurological or skeletal difficulties, as well as for older dogs who are merely feeling the inevitable effects of age and gravity.

The caddie is great for helping your companion to get up the stairs, in and out of the car, around the block, or out to the yard to complete their business.

The caddie works by supporting you're companion's underbelly, thereby relieving pressure from the hind quarters, allowing you to stand erect and maintain your center of gravity.

To correctly fit the caddie, place the fleece lined side up underneath your companion's chest or abdomen (depending on the ailment) with the loose ends of the handles projecting towards your pet's rear. Then adjust the handles to match your height and arm length with your companion's height. When adjusted properly, you should be able to stand straight, and with little effort, lift & transfer the necessary amount of weight from your companion to you.
